What are your priorities?

Mileage, fun to drive, all out HP, what?

Gas mileage is one.. fun to drive not really, reasonable power (I am not driving a 90hp Toyota Echo if you get my drift), and interior comfort. The mazda3 hits on all those areas, though I had thought to get a used Audi A4 as well... just a bit hesitant with electrical problems 🙂

Brand spanking new Honda Fit ftw. Nobody will ever mistake it for an American car, if that's what floats your boat, and it's a Honda that is actually built in Japan.

Imagine that!

And NOTHING beats new! 😛

I'm about to buy an infiniti but I hate buying from dealers. I don't want the hassle, rundowns and that digging notion that I somehow got stiffed.

Email the internet/fleet manager at a dealership and deal only with them, you won't have any of those problems.

Buy one for $2-4k, and spend the rest on something meaningful.

like the first 4 years of a roth IRA. Drop 4 grand a year into one for the next 35 years, and you'll have a million plus ( way plus!) when you retire.
