how about this? should i get the stock nav or a portable one like a megallan?

Looks like I may be able to start a bidding war between two local dealers. Another dealer I contacted online said he?ll beat the dealer participating in the Costco program and sell me a murano at $250 off invoice. Is it generally a good idea to start these bidding wars? I don?t see any harm myself. I can only benefit after at the end, unless they decide to screw me on the trade-in.

If you trade-in your car you're getting screwed on it. Sell it to carmax.

there is no carmax near me. only one around is about 150 miles up north...according to kbb, my 05 tc is worth $16,000 in trade in. when i bought it last year msrp was 16,500. if i can get 16k, i consider it pretty good.

Hm. 300 mile round trip is quite a drive. Carmax is pretty much gaurenteed to give you more but time is money..... I'd be surprised if the dealership offered you $16k for it. How many miles?

check kbb.com edmunds.com nada.com blackbook.com and average ALL the prices, and then assume your car is in the "poor" category when you go to trade it in, and you should be very good on the price.
