I love yellow journalism. Read into this stuff carefully. The kid was acting nuts. A taser was deployed. But the journalists aren't pointing out that in many cases a taser isn't effective - especially when the person hit by the taser is jacked up on drugs. In some cases they can't even feel it.
So when they say 'a taser was deployed' don't get this image in the head of a kid flopping on the ground like a fish while the officer empties another 3 rounds into him. Because there's no way we actually know what happened. The taser may have done nothing, and the kid may have still be going after the policemen.
In short - bodycams. NOW.
