I love yellow journalism. Read into this stuff carefully. The kid was acting nuts. A taser was deployed. But the journalists aren't pointing out that in many cases a taser isn't effective - especially when the person hit by the taser is jacked up on drugs. In some cases they can't even feel it.

So when they say 'a taser was deployed' don't get this image in the head of a kid flopping on the ground like a fish while the officer empties another 3 rounds into him. Because there's no way we actually know what happened. The taser may have done nothing, and the kid may have still be going after the policemen.

In short - bodycams. NOW.

What bothers me the most is the fact this guy seemed to be doing the right thing by going to college to make something of himself. So why would he do something completely crazy like try to steal a car from a closed dealership? He also looks a bit intoxicated in the videos. But there is no way he didn't know what he was doing was wrong, in spite of that fact. And he was even warned to leave by the security company over the speakers before the cops ever arrived, too.

Meanwhile, locally, this is now a huge issue, with nobody who is protesting willing to acknowledge the fact he shouldn't have been there trying to steal a new car, in the first place. If he wasn't there breaking the law, none of this would have happened, obviously.

So the update is, the cop was fired for not following proper procedures. Which is acceptable under the circumstances, I suppose. But, Texas law allows the use of deadly force under these types of circumstances from dusk to dawn, and especially if you are in fear for your life. Which means it was probably a legal killing, regardless of if he was armed or not, and it would be up to the grand jury to indict the officer.

Update:

Original Story:

He's a scapegoat to appease the retarded "Black lives matter" crowd. If he followed every detail in police procedure, they would have still found something to fire him for.

His flagrant disregard for someone else's property CAUGHT ON VIDEO TAPE alone warrants being shot. I don't give a sh!t if he has a weapon or not.

So basically every crime is a (immediate) capitol offense? No judge, no jury?

Please cite your legal basis for every person that is allegedly caught committing a crime is allowed to be executed by the police.

Otherwise, you are just another sick fuck that gets off seeing people killed for no reason.

You wanna back up your BS?

I'm all for removing the shit from society. Enough leeway has been given and it's time to start taking out the trash. The fact of the matter is, society is better off without him and saves me tax dollars from supporting him in prison. It's a win win case. In THIS specific case, he should have been shot when he was jumping on that car. Fvck him. If you can't play by the basic rules of society, then you should be removed.

This punk was jumping up and down on new cars and smashing windshields. Keep in mind that people get hurt by these crazy punks all the time and you never know if they have a hidden weapon or not. Anyone crazy enough to go to a new car lot and damage new cars is crazy enough to pull our a switch blade or razor and slice your throat. Cops should not treat criminal lightly unless they want to end up dead. If he resisted arrest or approached the cop to do harm, he got what he got that day due to his own stupidity. Cant fix stupid.

Criminals get killed because they are violent people.

lol, is that what you think ISIS leaders are saying? Their message is, "quit destorying car dealerships?" lol

"You are what you hate?" That's genius. So you're a child molester? And I bet you thought you were smart when you parroted that dumb ass quote. Well, you're not.

Deserved to be shot. The owner of the dealership could have legally shot him for his behavior. I don't see why the police shouldn't be able to. He was breaking several laws which, particularly during night time, allow the use of deadly force.

This cop got thrown under the bus by the Arlington PD trying to avoid being the next Ferguson.

that wasn't exactly your message, now was it?

you are what you hate because you sound exactly like them. did jstorm sound like a child molester? no. don't be offended when people point out the truth in what you post. in the United States of America, we do not execute people because someone judges them to be "the shit from society."

Do we start with you? I doubt a single person in your family has ever, or will ever be worth a shit.

The only fucked up people here are the ones making excuses for these worthless criminals. That's why store owners are arming themselves in Furgeson to SHOOT any worthless piece of crap that tries to destroy their property AGAIN. If you're too stupid to understand that is wrong or have such disregard for someone else's property that you would willfully destroy it, you are a menace to society, and the law abiding citizens should be able to protect it with deadly force. Shut down a freeway with a stupid protest, police should step away and let traffic resume at its stated speed limit. If you are standing on the freeway at that time, that's on you. It just means you're too dumb to understand walking onto a freeway was a risky move.

I don't understand what you're getting at. What's your question?

It seems like his question is "what state do you live in?" But I could be wrong. Or you could be a fucking retard. I'm leaning towards the latter. If you need help, I can post step-by-step instructions on how to update your profile so that your location appears next to your name and you won't have to struggle (literacy is tough) to answer simple questions regarding your state of residence.
