Okay, quick question. I have two cards that i'm carrying balances on, with some terrible APRs. I transferred an even amount off of each of those onto a card with 0% for balance transfers.

My due date is in about a week for each of the original two cards. Assuming the balance transfer is finalized by the due date for those cards, does it count as this month's payment towards them? Or should I still pay them this month as well?

I highly doubt it will count as a payment. I would make the min. payment as well.

Definitely call a CSR.

I'd make the payment anyway though to CYA.

IF you know for a FACT that the BT was fully processed and received by the cards where you had a balance, then it will count as a payment. If you have any doubt, then pay the minimum.

Lol. This is exactly why I didn't call a CSR. Three answers from ATOT in less time than I would have spent just waiting to get to talk to a rep.

I guess I'll just keep a closer eye on the accounts and pay the minimum in case. I left >$100 on each card because I wasn't sure what my transfer limit would be so I kept it at a round $2k. Thanks for the responses guys.
