My last AT&T/Verizon contract is finally expiring & I need a Tmobile phone to add to the family plan through Amazon (I'll start a new account & get the massive rebate & roll it over into the family plan after the first bill)

Currently have a Nokia 6800, love it, but have to pick another cell...

Considering waiting for IPAQ H6300, it'd be killer to have WiFi/PDA/cell phone/bluetooth all in one...

@ the least I need a cell that'll sync with Outlook & let me keep passwords & such in the "notes" menu.

Suggesstions?

Amazon Tmobile cells

(I'd post on Howard Forums, but I'm such a noob over there don't know if I'd get a response)

Update

Got my V600, it'll be $50 after rebate with my Amazon GC.

Took 4 phone calls, since I already have 3 lines activated in my name, Amazon automatically booted the order, TMobile told me 3X they'd ok another line (once before the order, once after Amazon booted the order, and a 3rd one when Amazon demanded a deposit for the 4th line, Amazon finally agreed with TMobile & gave me the 4th phone without a deposit:D

I'll roll it over into the family plan after the first months bill to qualify for the $150 rebate...

Going to miss my 6800:(

Now I need the cable, cradle, spare battery, software

For -$100, you really can't go wrong with the Motorola V300. It's basic, but that's what I like best in a phone. Looks good, built like a tank (like all Motorola phones) and functional too.

the motorola v600 was just released on tmobile, it should show up on amazon soon...(it's on there for cingular and att already)

bluetooth, better keypad, video playback, 'situational lighting' (one color means a work call, one means friends..etc) compared to V300

Yep, just saw it on Amazon & ordered it:D

At&T is already dead/sold to Cingulair, but I'm glad to be rid of them.

Average time on hold for T-Mobile ~1 minute, I've spent 45 minutes on hold for the first CSR on AT&T (although I haven't called them since they were sold).

My contract with AT&CRAP is expiring soon as well. I'm in the So Cal and I'm also thinking about going over to T-Mobile. I am also planning on getting the V300. Simple enough

I really like mine also. I am also looking at the HP phone, but I heard it is kinda on the weak side for processor speed. One thing I wish my E715 had was bluetooth.

Sweet.

I looked @ the IPAQ, but it's just too big for me, want to continue to carry my phone in my pocket. I have a Nokia 6800 now, my 11 year old called dibs, but I think it'll go on fleabay instead, & leave her with her Motorola V66

Thoughts on the V600 now that it is in your hands?

I am considering getting one, if T-Mobile will let me trade up. I'm not sure if they will offer any rebates to current customers, but it would be stupid to cancell my service and then sign up again just so I can get a rebate.

I like it, but almost wish I'd gone with a smaller phone like my oldest daughter's e105 Samsung...

Nice screen, RF sensitivity seems good, menus aren't too miserable. Case seems a little fragile, although it is metal, it just seems like tinfoil.

Thinking about getting a retractable antenna, anyone know if they help RF sensitivity, or if they're a looks only accessory?
