Yet another Comcast sucks thread.
I've been paying ~$63 /month for preferred digital service + dvr + internet service for the last 6 months. My plan breaks down like this:
$19.99/month HSI for 6 months
$29.99/month for preferred digital + zee tv + tv asia till December 2005
$10.00/month for DVR
Well I knew my HSI promotion ended at the beginning of August. But those fvckers also ended my tv promotion and charged me full price for everything. So instead of a normal $63 + ~$22 (price difference because HSI promotion ended) I got a nice bill for ~$250 :shocked::|:|:|:|:|
I call those morons up and even give them the names of the various CSR's who told me that my tv promotion was good till December and their only response is:
"Well I can't verify what another employee told you."
"I've never heard of anyone named Janet."
Three times in the past 6 months they've "accidently" turned off both tv asia+zee tv and put me on a high priced "regular" plan for no reason. Each time I had to spend an hour on the phone getting them to fix up their mistakes.
So I finally got those incompetent morons to put me on a different special so it would lower my bill down to $150 but as soon as I can, I'm getting rid of the service. Verizon FIOS, here I come!

EDIT: Oh and Fred (definitely not a common name, eh?) didn't seem to understand why I was upset over my bill being almost 4 times the usual amount.
