first of all, my philosophy of getting good grade is that you'll get a grade depending on however much effort you put into your study. If you have a really hard class, put more effort into it and you'll AT LEAST pass it with a C. it is NOT hard to pass a class with a C at all, IMO.
of course, this "rule of thumb: applies to hardcore majors like engineering, math and science majors only. the other majors are jokes in terms of difficulty. maybe law and some philosophy stuff would be hard but hmm yeah.
