Back in the early 90's when I would play tons of RPG's for the NES (FF,DW,Zelda)... I got this game called startropics... I remember Nintendo Power had a big write up on it(who didnt subscribe to NP)... so i went out and got the game. It was pretty sweet... it seemed to be built on an engine similar to an updated Dragon Warrior crossed with Zelda engine. Fast foward to the late 90's early 00's... where I was a camp counselor. I used to confiscate tons of Gameboys and the big game was Pokemon. So i decided to try it out... it reminded me of my old RPG's back in the day, but was kinda cheesy... none the less I played it a lot those few summers.

Last night I setup the NES system and played a little star tropics. I was amazed at how pokemon seemed to be an incarnation of dragon warrior and this game.... anyone agree? brilliance on nintendo's part. they made at least 5-10 pokemon games all different colors and im sure they weren't diffucult at all to make. pure brilliance.
