What person needs that many CC's?

chase perfect mastercard - i use for all general purchases that doesn't fall into a reward category, since it gives me 1% rebate, applied directly to my next statement

citi dividend platinum mastercard - i use this for all grocery, drugstore, and non-shell gas purchases; i get 5% cash back, but i have to accrue rewards until i hit $50 before i can cash out

shell citi mastercard - i use this for all shell gas purchases, since it gives me 5% rebate, applied directly to my next statement

costco american express - i use this for all my eating out, where i get 3% rebate, and all my travel (airline, hotel, car rental) where i get 2% rebate; i can cash out once a year in february

HouseHold credit card with 2% cash-back straight up, not one of the UP TO 2% cards. I have it and love it, for every $100 I spend I get $2 back in CASH. The only problem is that it's INVITE ONLY, so don't throw out all the credit card offers in the mail without looking.

LOL, THIS MANY? I have 40 of them and I'm still looking for more (most of them I get just for bonus sign up, such as $150 cash, $100 cash, $100 gift card, iPod nano 1GB etc.)

That does sound very good. Any additional info on it?

What's the point on separating your gas purchases between Shell and non Shell stations? 😕

Probably to get around the $300 yearly reward limit per card.

Starwood Amex, I spend a sick amount of money on it... useful for the air miles bonus and since I like to stay at Starwood hotels

If I were American or eligible, I'd get an Amazon card. Then again, why so many? I haven't touched my first since getting my second.
