Alright, looking for some mostly subjective advice here. I have a 2005 GMC Canyon crew cab, so my options for subs are limited since I'd like to keep my backseat.
My first option would be an MTX Thunderform with a single 10" sub that can hand 225/450 watts (RMS/Peak). I don't have any experience with MTX stuff, but my guess is that it is of decent quality.
My other option would be a custom box that holds two 8" subs. I'd have to wire a couple 2 ohm subs in series in order for this to work with my amp.
Couple questions:
* Would putting two subs in series be acceptable if they shared the same space? How about if they were in separate spaces?
* Are MTX enclosures worth the money?
* Other options I'm overlooking?
