Do you guys think that they are gonna 'rest' their startes (just play them in the first half or something) and jeapordize their chances going unbeaten?

Or do they go for the 16-0 record and possibly risk someone getting hurt?

Might have some tough games w/ Jacksonville (no Leftwich though), San Diego and at Seattle still...

I thought I heard on ESPN or something that like that; that Dungy said once he gets home field he'll rest the starters to reduce the chances of injury.

Doesn't the NFL really dislike it when coaches actively do that? I remember the big hoopla a year or two ago when the Falcon's coach was benching Vick for this specific purpose. He was banged up and the coach wanted him fresh for the playoffs. The NFL threw a big hissy fit because they thought it would hurt ratings or something if Vick wasn't playing.

Unbeaten would be nice, but it doesn't mean squat if you don't win the big game.

Totally wrong. Undefeated season is immortality.

I heard he is going to rest them too... he should definitely play them enough to beat a team and then pull them. Its not like there is much competition after jacksonville and san diego..

Seattle is pretty tough.

Not really...they are just 9-2 because they are a bunch of pansies... 😀

And even though you went undefeated, you still have to live with the fact you still weren't good enough to win a Super Bowl.

They should sit Manning and some of their elite players, but play them until halftime. The last thing you want is rusty starters in the playoffs.
