Anyone have any experience with this car? It's one of the possible choices for my first car. I'm not too savvy in terms of cars so I was just wondering does anyone know anything about what kind of mileage this car gets and what kind of gas does it require and any reliability problems it might be known for.

Oh and a poll for which car I should buy! Cause everyone loves poles!

hey i also used to have an eclipse gt. anyway, what exactly are you looking for, those are very different cars.

If you want an eclipse get the body style before that.
Yeah, it was so bad that it was the best selling Eclipse EVER.

GSTs/GSXs made up 15% of sales for the prior generations. GTs/GTSs made up more than half of 3rd gen sales.

All I'm looking at are auto's cause

1.I don't know how to drive a manual tranny yet
2. I'm gonna be mostly traveling by freeway. I-10 in cali and we all know how bad that can get.

which kind of rules out the miata cause I wouldn't want to drive a auto miata but it was just a though

Correct, the 2000 eclipse looks like ass.

Agreed. I like the older style eclipse bodies myself but the 2000 one was all I could find that had it's mileage under 100k. I have nothing against cars with over 100k miles but the body style of the 2000 isn't so bad that it would be something I couldn't live with. I've seen worse.

i think the best would be altima. the eclipse is not a bad car at all, and the accord/camry and the usual civic/corolla are fine as well.

if you don't mind the gas milage and putting in premium, older maxima's are great cars for their low prices now.
