I know this has been said before, but I can't help it. Today as I'm pulling in to work here (the dress code here is business casual, mind you), I see two women walking in BOTH wearing hooker boots. I see women all the time wearing button-down shirts that are unbuttoned WAY too far down. Now when I'm sitting on the left side of women dressed in those shirts, it's somehow MY fault if I can't help but look at your all-but-completely-exposed chests.

The killer is, companys can't make you stop because that would be sexual harassment, but I swear you're basically ASKING for sexual harassment. It's ridiculous! There is a reason that boots like those are called CFM's (in case you don't know, that stands for "come f*** me's").

Yeah like that Old Navy commercial where the chick gets all excited about breathing in air, she's wearing this crazy lingerie looking pink top. If someone wore that to my office I would definitely be staring at her...

A woman asks for sexual harrasment?

If you are so weak and pathetic that a little cleavage bothers you, the appropriate action is to take it to HR and say that their overt sexuality is bothering you. Trust me, they will solve your problem. You'll have an office full of turtlenecks in a week.

Good Job!

only if you get caught...

and I agree with the OP. There is no practical reason they should be dressed like that for work. They are just being CTs. I don't care how much self-control you have... it is a distraction.

I'm going to wear some skin tight thin silk dress pants and substitute viagara for my cheerios.

But since when is it illegal to look at someone? I understand if you're staring and drooling.

Thankfully, I've been so desensitized by internet pr0n that I hardly notice scandalous outfits around the office.

Dammit... OK, now I have to take back some of my sarcasm. You've gotta nit-pick and be a b1tch about it.

I'm not talking about the kind of harassment where you walk up to a girl and say "I want to f*** you." Nobody condones that. However, I AM talking about the kind of harassment where you look down a girl's shirt when you're not really supposed to. Dammit, it's just so inviting! As a man in corporate America, I live in constant fear getting in trouble for anything and everything I say. Everything's so PC now, I can't say anything without thinking of the freaking legal raifications of them first, which is RIDICULOUS!

Listen, while I'm at work, my sexual urges are almost entirely repressed. I don't date women I work with and I don't look at women at work in the same way I look at women outside of work. What pisses me off is that women wear such suggestive clothing, and it causes me to start looking them as not only business associates, but also females - attractive ones at that.

You don't even have to take it to the legality level. If they so much as mention to higher-ups that they are being "threatened" by your actions, you're pretty much up the creek with no paddle. Don't believe it ? Many companies don't stand for that kind of thing... they can launch all the investigations they claim ... but in the end... your rep is still done. That's why it is unfair to provoke.

I'm married and still if a woman shows cleavage at the workplace, I would have to make an effort to avoid looking. Maybe that's just me. Maybe I'd like to keep my job too...

You must be gay then.

And fire the first shot by logging an anonymous complaint with HR about how you feel uncomfortable with how scantily clad the women are dressed. Jeez.
