My local bike shop has one in my size and they're asking $899.99 for it. Any reason why I shouldn't buy this bike? It also comes with Wellgo SPD pedals.

Update-I called this morning and they are holding the bike for me until I get a chance to ride it this afternoon. I'll post pics this evening!

Update 2-I went over there at lunch and bought it. Pics to follow this evening! :D

Now with pic!

Nice bike, I just bought a Felt F80 for $700 and its sweet. I ride it to work every day I can. Thats a great deal on that bike, I would buy it in a second.

For $900, I suggest you jump on that immediately. Felt makes nice stuff.

Nice find! Ultegra component group would be great price. 105 group goes on $1200 bikes usually

Felts are nice. I'm drooling over a Merlin Lunaris at the moment, but still riding the trusty old Allez because it's inexpensive and it's faster than I can go. We need another bike pr0n thread!

I'm hoping the team's hooking me up next year. The new Specialized Tarmacs are looking very tempting. :D

I'm basically at the mercy of the sponsors, but it'll probably be Bianchi or Specialized for next year. Looks like our team clothing will switch to Hincapie rather than the Sugoi we've had.

Yeah, I'm not so hot on aluminum frames but those carbon stays are supposed to help alleviate some of the harshness. It also has a carbon seatpost. I'm going to go back and give it a test ride later this evening I think.

It's not a full Ultegra group but most of the major components are Ultegra.

Carbon definitely takes the edge off the Aluminum.

My wife. She's griping about the money...I just had my old steel frame bike tuned up to the tune of $200 (I had them replace cables, new brake levers and hoods, retape the bars and I had a different stem put on it as well). I like my old school bike but damn, it's heavy compared to this bike. This bike is under 20 lbs. In fact, I lifted a Specialized Roubaix Comp full carbon bike and it actually felt (no pun intended) heavier or at least no lighter than this bike. I know carbon bikes generally aren't any lighter than aluminum, they just ride differently.

That's a killer deal. I don't love aluminum bikes, but that's undeniably a really nice one, and a great price. Buy it, damnit!

Okay, I talked the wife into it. God, you'd think I asked her if I could buy the freaking Space Shuttle...

Meanwhile, I let her buy a $400 purse a few months ago...:roll::roll::roll::roll:

Now I just need to go down there and give it a test ride and see if I like riding it as much as I like it on paper and looking at it in person. :D

Sweet bike, esp. for the price. The only component I don't like on its setup is the FSA crank. Had two fail and both failed on removing them from the BB. On both, one a customer's and one mine, the aluminum insert that fits onto the Octolink pulled out of the carbon arm. FSA did a fairly quick turnaround on replacement, and subsequently found out FSA had not quite cut the notches large enough to keep from binding the BB spindle's fingers.

On mine, I traded it off on receipt of the replacement for a new Ultegra crank + $$. The FSA was a nice piece of carbon, but honestly, the Shimano crank's rings seemed to shift smoother and faster than the rings on the FSA. Combined with the failures and I'm not so hot on FSA right now.

As for the bike..........surprised you're not riding as I type!!!

I was wondering about that. Nothing more than a cost saving measure by Felt I'm sure. Still, I could upgrade that to Ultegra at a later date...or sooner if it fails. :D

Edit-I'm going down there tomorrow with my cycling clothes and giving it a test ride. If all goes well, I'm buying it.
