Well, I am 26 now and in the last 3 years I started growing hair on my back.... not alot, but I noticed it getting more spread out.

I don't like it at all since I never had it for 23 years. So I am thinking of a perm solution.

Electrolysis looks to be the way to go. But I can't find much info on how much it would cost or if there are bad side effects. I heard ingrown hair is one side effect... super gross.

Anyhow... who has had it? And how did you like the results?

IMO, if you're 26 now you should probably at least consider the fact that you'll likely have a lot more as you grow older. Perhaps you could continue to go for treatments, but at a point it might not be feasible. Just something to consider.

They also have laser treatment, but I'm not familiar with the efficacy of that either. I've heard good and bad things about both methods. Most of what I hear is, "It doesn't work and you have to go back for a lot of treatments."

I'm 28. My back, shoulder, neck, and chest hair is multiplying by the month. At this rate I'll be a yehti by the time I'm 40. I was pretty hairless until I was 25. Then it started going downhill fast. Just wait till you have to start plucking it from your ears!

Give it time. It'll get much much worse. Do it now and you'll end up with bald patches :p

Son of a mother... I didn't put into account my crap bodies ability to constantly make new places the grow hair.

Maybe I should go the waxing route as a temp fix for a couple years and see if the spreading slows.

again... son of a mother@!

Unless you're going shirtless all the time, I'd just say let it grow until you seem to have hit a peak amount, then look into removal options at that time.
