Pretty simple; I have a messenger bag I use - I've had it for basically my entire college career and I've become really attached to it (a bag, weird, I know).

Anyhow, I was recently overseas and the courteous, gentle airport attendant ripped open the bag and flung a piece off of my bag; now, mind you - it was an 18-hour flight with a transfer and I was too out of it to really notice at the time (look at the pics and it'll make more sense; I think) - is there any way to get that specific piece replaced? I bought the bag from the Gap, but they don't even sell this type pf bag anymore; any advice?

The piece on the bottom buckles to thh leather strap and buckles up to the bottom like that.

So, I'm missing the buckle - any advice? Any links to see if they even sell the type of bag anymore?

BTW, jetlag is horrible. 🙁

Why don't you just buy a new purse? Oh wait, you'd probably have to buy a new pair of shoes as well.
 
I don't think this qualifies as a YA*T thread. I don't think there's been a post like this before. Nor do I think there should ever be another one.

I use that to take my Gi to class on my motorcycle - I don't think not having a (semi-)secure flap on my bag is a realistic option while riding on a motorcycle.
