Yet Another As Seen on TV Thread:
Maybe I'm getting old since those TV products are actually interesting to me. So I figure, why not just pool together all our experiences with those products if we tried it out and point out items that you're curious about and hopefully someone can voice their opinions. I'll start.
Sonicare: I used to have lots of gum problems before it but the Sonicare toothbrush worked pretty well. My teeth are feeling find and my gums don't bleed anymore. Some brushes have a quad-pacer feature so it'll make sure you clean the four areas of your teeth, each for 30 seconds. The only setback is the initial $70 you gotta put down for this. I had friends buy cheaper electric toothbrushes but the brush heads are alot thicker and it's harder to brush the back of your teeth. The sonicare head is pretty small so you can get every nook and cranny.
Proactiv: It does work, but it costs so freaking much! I posted this in another proactiv thread but it boils down to this. An exfoliating benzoyl peroxide cleanser. A glycolic acid toner and finally a benzoyl peroxide lotion, twice a day. I think you can go through the skincare aisle and perhaps make your own concoction. It's worth a try if you're bored
OxyClean: My friends will stand by it but I haven't had much luck with it. With really tough problems I usually use Ajax to cut through it. Oxyclean didn't do as well in those areas for me.
My curiousity list:
6-Second Abs and Gator-Grip for starters....
Thanks!
