so..as mentioned earlier, i was in the market for some rice ball seasons.
i went to the store and instead found myself being handed a bag of this

it tastes sweet.
anyone have any idea what this might be?
(the woman either didnt understand what i was asking or i didnt understand what she was saying when she handed them to me...or both. anyway, she seemed pretty happy about it so i figured id take it)
 
I find it funny that you bought something and have no idea what it is.

But I think that Mikey is right.
 
based on color, it looks like it could be carambola, but that's usually a little salty (sprinkles of salt on your watermelon salty)

what's the texture? any other ways to describe the taste other than sweet? and is it a processed food?
