YA360T: This is just ridiculous

So a few months back before the launch, I'm discussing where to get a 360 with a friend, I think this is either before or right when the whole shortage rumor (that turned out not to be a rumor) started. No stores are taking pre-orders at this point other than the $700+ bundles, and one day he IMs me like hey I think I found a supplier, ever heard of Alliwire?

Alli-who? So we hit up the site and find that they're offering the Premium for $420 shipped and the core for $318. Not bad when you factor tax into the equation, you break out even with retail. I look around a little more and see they were even taking pre-orders for Halo 3...wtf?

I dunno man, looks shady to me, any resellerratings? Nope, none. So it's not even an official business, I think prior to this 360 venture of theirs, they only sold cables and sh!t for last gen consoles. Only took a few minutes to decide fvck that, not worth it.

A little while later friend IMs me again with a link to their forums where they're apparently having issues with PayPal and now the only secure form of payment is no longer an option. Checks and money orders only.

There was another post I can't find at the moment where a member was asking him who "X Millsap" on his PayPal account was, and Dillon (the head honcho) replied it was his mother. So this guy is probably under 18, or hardly over.

Here's a nice little post letting the 300+ people that ordered know their Xbox 360 would be shipped "launch day"

Not too long ago I was forwarded this e-mail with the subject: "HAHA OWNED". screen cap
Keep in mind this "business" is run by no more than 2-3 people, and only half of the total order amount needed to be paid to the "supplier" that scammed them up front. So we're talking $80,000+ worth of retards that actually ordered from this place.

Considering this is a personal business run by a guy whose mother is the holder of his PayPal account, with only 2 employees that I know of, and one may just be a moderator, I'm wondering if he can really afford a $39,000 loss, like oh well that's the cost of doing business, or if he's sh!tting buckets right now and playing it off so as not to cause mass panic and chaos.

And here's the most recent forward I received, with a link to this thread. Read it and weep you dumb sons of b!tches, no Xbox 360 for you. A lot of these people are requesting refunds because they put all their kids' Christmas money into an order, and now they obviously won't be getting the console in time like they thought they would, so they need the money back to come up with something else.

Dillon has no fvcking clue what he's doing or how to handle this. He actually asked his customers for advice on how to handle refunds etc. I'd like to feel sorry for all the people that ordered, but frankly, those people are morons. And I'd like to feel sorry for Dillon, but man, you should've known better. That or kudos to you for running the greatest Xbox 360 scam yet.

And reading some of the replies: Oh Dillon, we understand, what a horrible thing to go through. It's ok that you owe us all money you probably can't even pay back. Those are the people that are so easy to take advantage of.

I'm still waiting for all hell to break loose when this guy just disappears. Somebody get the popcorn.
