well unfortunately the guy did sent it back. I'm looking at it now. There may be a few things missing, not quite sure, but the guy's initial complaint was that the steam level didn't move, that it was stuck. sigh....with a little pressure it's now perfectly fine, not surprisingly. now I gotta figure out how to best explain this situation to ebay so that I get my money back

That's why I only sell on Craigslist now. No fees, and the buyer usually ships himself to the location of my choosing for the transaction.

son of a bitch. this guy was a real asshole.

ebay buyer protection: eBay hosts the resolution process when buyers claim to sellers that their item was not received or the item they received was different from what was described in the listing

ebay guy: if it doesnt work seller needs to deal with the warranty

annoying as hell. also seemed to not care that the item DOES WORK! he was trying to ask what kind of value I thought the item has lost, I presume to throw me a few dollars. screw that. on hold again trying to talk to someone else because the supervisors apparently dont take calls...

Ebay is so slanted toward buyers that it's not worth the hassle unless you can afford a total loss on the item sold. That way if they complain, just refund in full and tell them to keep it.

I'm so friggin angry right now. After the person yesterday seemed to agree that the case shouldn't have been decided in the buyer's favor, the two people I talked to today were complete douches. The person yesterday told me that the buyer needs to send the item back in the same condition as it was(impossible, since I sent it new). but anyway, I have it back and there are some scratches, the box is beat up, and it's obviously used now. The second guy basically told me too bad, the item works so resell it.

And of course they wouldn't transfer me to the girl I spoke with yesterday.
