It's just a common orb weaving garden spider or Cross spider, Araneus diadematus.

The one spider that I will actually pick up and hold. They don't give me the willies for some reason.. I used to handle them all the time when I was younger.

Just about any other spider though... *runs around screaming like a little girl*

Yeah, I've gone completely paranoid about spiders since I lived in my last house where I could find 2 a night ON MY BED!

I check my sheets every night now, no matter where I sleep 🙁
