I was trying to buy an autographed card of my greatest sports idol on ebay.

It had a buy-it-now for $80 + $5 for shipping. But underneath that, there was a best offer button.

So I click that and offered $80 for it shipped, which is essentially like asking for free shipping. I figured he would agree since the actual cost of shipping a single card is really more like $1.50. Seller responds with that he can't go any lower than the buy-it-now price. Then why'd you even bother with the best offer?

I've been seeing that kinda stuff on lots of online marketplaces. People are stupid. If your price isn't flexible, disable the "make offer" option!

Will the cards go into the tub with the Lego heads or do they get their own tub?

How do you know the autograph is genuine?

Because nobody would dare forge the signature of a guy that scored four touchdowns in a single game of high school football. Some things are sacred.

Each of the companies are representing that they are legit. They're really strict about that, because their business is based on that. The only time I've ever heard of a faked autographed card was an actress from Arrow who used a stamp. Once that was discovered, the card company offered an exchange for a real signed card.

Not only that, you don't mess with their entire family.

That's pretty cool. I have some actor and actresses signed photographs myself. I wanted John Glen's, but he died right before I could write him a letter. At that point he was probably already in the hospital.
