Based on this:
EA Regrets Stifling Developers, Promises Reform
http://www.dailytech.com/EA+Re...eform/article10636.htm
EA have claimed they want to be nicer to developers, and they seem to be improving the way they work at least in some aspects.
Maybe they really have started trying to be nice?

What would it take for people here to reconsider EA as not being the big-bad ugly wolf they once were?

Mass Effect:
Leading video game developer BioWare, a division of Electronic Arts Inc., has announced that "Bring Down the Sky," the first piece of downloadable content for the award-winning space epic Mass Effect, will be available for PC gamers to download free of charge when Mass Effect for the PC releases on May 28, 2008 in North America and June 6, 2008 in Europe.

Warhammer: Online
During the most recent phase of beta testing, two things have become clear. One was that our key innovations - Public Quests, Tome of Knowledge and Realm vs. Realm combat - were all coming along extremely well, as was the first stage of our innovative crafting system. []bThe second, that the game would benefit from additional iteration time as well as adding a layer of polish or two. [/b]Fortunately, as part of Electronic Arts, we are able to do just that.

Spore:
Lots of delays and a massively pushed back release date from what was originally anticipated by most people.
