When are they going to stop pushing Jericho and just go all the way with him. I'd love to see Y2K as the WWF Champion even if for just a week. He looked so good with the title back when he beat HHH for it..

BTW, hes got a match tonight VS Stone Cold on Smackdown for number one contendership..

Go Y2J!!!

I was there at RAW that night. Talk about kick ass :D

Anyway, I don't know just why they don't push him. Maybe they feel he is better used raising/giving credibility to midcarders...

someone start a poll
should chris jericho even go by Y2J anymore?
sure it might have worked before and during Y2K with the fear of computer failures and stuff....(igniting his blackout entrance)
but now it's 2001....
so....Y2J, Y2J1...or just chris jericho?

I personally like Chris Jericho as a wrestler - I really do hope that he takes out STONE COLD tonight - I mean, Stone Cold never really was the same after that neck injury w/ Owen Hart now was he??

Chris Jericho should still go w/ Y2J - who cares if it doesn't make sense to a lot of people - it's what he's known as, and that's a-okay w/ me.

Saw him take out RHYNO at Summerslam - that was awesome - showed a lot of confidence by bypassing the 3rd count and combining Rhino into the walls of Jericho. And hey, the kissing of Stephanie wasn't a bad touch either..

He's everything that fans should want in a wrestler - he's funny, stupid, witty, powerful, and smart all at once ;)

<< Chris Jericho vs. Rhyno was hard-hitting and solid. Y2J got a bad break because the ropes got
loose. I read somewhere that somebody said that Jericho was lazy and that he called it in, which is
absolutely ridiculous. I was embarrassed for the person who made the comments, because Chris
Jericho has never called it in. he will never, ever call it in. Those guys worked their asses off. They
worked snug. They were very physical. The story was well told. Were there a couple of blotched
spots? Yes. Was it the fault of the talent? No.

Eugh - don't even bring that up again, it was an excellent Smackdown that was ruined by a stupid speech about the alliance :| and to think that most of the WCW and ECW freaks were moved by this... what? Look at me, I'm talking to you.. what??

It was kind of witty at first, but after a while, it became completely redundant. Loved the way his crew supporter him as if he was actually something though... even though I must admit that he's almost as good as new 4 years after the "incident" ... he's never gonna have the respect that I gave to the old Stone Cold... just look at the Angle match -keeping his title through disqualification? Great display of how he has come to be the face of the alliance, eh?

(GG you friggin' make wrestling sound like it's a melodramatic, real life, soap opera ordeal)

Eh, it's not the first time he's ever missed a spot.

And I do see things going up for Jericho. Apparently he's invited to those meetings now where long term booking is discussed, and joins the like of JR, Triple H, etc..I bet the meeting prior to SS, Jericho was all..

"Hey I have an idea, maybe I should kiss Stephanie, yeah, that'll make her look bad, and I suspect she'll NEVER, EEEEEVER, feel the same, agane."
"But Chris, you did that just last year, and everyone will see it coming"
"Your point?"

i wanna see Y2J get pushed and win the title damnit. I had a feeling he wouldn't win it tonight. It was too good to be true.

By the way, it's messed up how some of you make fun that he messed up at SS. He's a damn hard worker and he's not a fvck up like some of these wreslters. This guy has been busting his a$$ for years in Japan and Mexico but he doesn't get the credit as a credible wrestler. Plus, his mikework is probably one of the best in the WWF right now.

It's not the fact that he messed up at Summerslam, but he messes up a lot more than that. I do have as much respect for his abilities as anyone else, and the due he's paid to get where he is now. But there's no question that he's a sloppy worker.

Jericho's time will come soon enough, and when that time does come, I'll be standing as high and cheering as loudly as the next guy..
