For computers with redundant power supplies, it is much easier to plug ONE lead (and just use one receptacle) rather than two.

Where can I purchase a computer power cord with two ends to plug into dual power supplies? A triple one with heavier (12/3AWG) wire would also be good for 4U servers with three hotswap power supplies. So far, I have not been able to find either.

Cheers!

Allied Electronics is a great company, and it is very handy to have a catalog sitting around. You can save a bundle on many computer parts that stores overcharge for (such as cords). I typically receive my shipments within 48 hours. I order through a university so there is a minimum of $25 and I get free shipping. I don't know if there is a minimum order though if you are willing to pay for shipping.

I wasn't sure if you saw my final edit of 16 AWG - be careful if you really need 12 AWG.

Yes I did. The 12AWG cord would be the triple (775W x3) power supply for a 4U. I'll probably splicecast one of those.

Cheers!
