i feel for ya man...a buddy and i went to the lake...we floated around in inflatable boats drinking beer...we started to feel a bit burnt so we headed in...well...after we got in the shade its like we kept cooking...after about 4 hours or so we were beet red all over...we spent like 50 bucks at wal mart trying to find something that would make the pain go away...we slept in the truck cause it hurt to lay down...it was shitty...very shitty....

i've got a decent tan right now, nothing major as I don't tan much or well, its just that without a base tan I look unhealthy/pale. What I didn't bother to put sunblock on though is my penis and I had on thin boxers. Laugh at me all you will, but this is hell. I'm slightly sun burnt all around, but I bet my member is going to blister if the topical burn cream I'm using doesn't work.

lol, I don't think I'll die. I got burnt worse in a bed a few years back. Gave me permanent sun spots on my back (blistered the skin and destroyed the pigment). I govered my penis with a sock though, apparently that was thick enough.

When I lived in Panama, I fell asleep in a hammock on the beach. It was located under a Bahio, and at the time the sun wasn't on me. As the sun moved across the sky, my back was exposed to the sun for 5 hours. I had been out in the sun all afternoon, so my body was already burned. When I woke up, I literally looked like a lobster. That night I couldn't sleep because the pain was so bad, and the next day the skin on my back, chest, stomach, face, and calves bubbled up. My upper layer of skin was lifted about 1cm off of the rest of my skin, and filled up wiht a yellow liquid. I couldn't wear a shirt for 7 days, nor could I sleep laying down (had to sleep in a chair). I went to one of my mothers friends, who was a military doctor, and he said that there was really nothing that could be done since I had waited 4 days until I saw him. I was covered in 2nd degree burns.

Then, one night as I was watching TV, my sister sliped and hit my back. THe skin ripped off, the yellow liquid draind out of my back, and it hurt like a mofo. The skin over the area where she hit me is now darkened/discolored, and the rest of my affected skin is covered in thousands of freckles. The next day I peeled all of the skin off - it was tough like leather, but didn't hurt.

A quarter inch patch of sunburn is nothing. I've got a 10 inch long, 2 inch wide flash burn on my arm.
