Xvid in CPU Benchmarks

i was wondering why Xvid wasn't included in benchmarking? is it only for the reason that it's not at 1.0 yet?

i saw on some site that Xvid and Divx5 get very different results speedwise on current-to-new AMD and Intel chips (i dug all around but couldn't find the link); it would be nice to see the video encoding from at least two angles... (video and some audio encoding being the main thing i really do much these days)
