Thanks for the info Robert. With the 75.90's i'm getting mass corruption in CS : S. Temp reading is off as well. The older vxg's are better IMO.

What kind of corruption are you experiencing can you provide a screenshot? alot of the people recieving these video corruption have VERY similar system to mine but i dont get ANY of these issues i still havent pinpointed why its happening to some and not others.

Temp bug isn't really something they can fix. Only Nvidia can fix that as well as the "shiny grass" and yellow water.

Thanks for the release! Drivers thread will be updated.

The corruption i'm getting is almost like the card or my system is overheating..but they're not. I checked. I clean the 75.9's out and installed the 71.2b's back. No more problems. I can't provide a screeshot. It's almost like running at 3 fps and under. It's hard to explain.

These seem to run fine on my rig. HL2DM plays fine, no real negative or positve effects over the nVida WHQL drivers. 3DMark05 is up a couple hundered Marks...

I can't test those now since I only have 256mb of ram, but I'll try 'em as soon as I can.

So let me get this straight. A guy posts above you his results in a real game engine, with next to zero difference in the two. Then you tell him to run 3dmark and aquamark, because he should see a "nice increase" in those?

....

He should be getting higher, he might didn't install them correctly. You should read about some benched games in some other forums to know that, HL2 and source engine should have a boost... If he runs 3dMark and AM3 we can know whether they are correctly installed or not.

If you read the thread, a lot of people are having problems with the drivers. Ever think, its the drivers, and not the installation?

The point is, an increase of a synthetic benchmark, is not as good as an increase of a real game.

Did you even read what I posted? I said it brings performance boosts for HL2 and CSS. Also for Doom 3 and Farcry so they are great. Only mayor problem is with CoRidick, and is a game bug, not a driver bug.

Did you even read what I posted? Multiple people are having problems with the drivers, which could mean is the drivers, and not the installation.

i just use whatever nvidia officals.. I used to play this driver game but updating every 4 days gets old.. then you have conflicting accounts in forums as to which beta is fastest :::SIGH::: I'd rather play games than benchmark.

There seems to be a problem with users running 1600x1200 resolution getting video corruption when playing movies on wmp10 and such. because all the users who reported this are running 1600x1200 if someone is capable of running 1200x1200 can you please test out the video playback on these so i can confirm. also please tell me if you running on dvi or not.

And as for that little argument there just chill guys everyone will get different results some will increase in performance some wont and some may have installed incorrectly who knows.

Ok just found out that the video corruption some users are getting happen in the regular 75.90 so now i know its not the XG tweaks which is a good thing but now we need to figure out why some people have the issue and some dont.

Tweaks R Us you can ask some questions because I had the video corrupted with your drivers. Hope you figure it out.
