Xterasys any good?

I'm looking at buying two wireless cards and setting up a little ad hoc network between a laptop and desktop for internet connection sharing and file sharing between them. There's some xterasys wireless G stuff for pretty cheap that I'm thinking of buying. But I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this brand? It's the first I've heard of them.

Ok well in case anyone else comes here looking. Read some reviews on Newegg and it's a mixed bag. Some people really love them and have had no problems with their adapters. Others have problems with the connection just dropping out on them. I'm wondering if it's an issue with a particular OS or the fact that they are using a mix of different companies wireless equipment. The adapters are cheap enough so I think I'm gonna go for it.

I have two of the wireless pcmcia lan cards and they work fine for me. I do believe that it has the generic realtek chipset but I am not positively sure...
