XPSP2 will not keep the Cookies

It was freash installed; my I.E. will not keep the cookies.
I have to keep typing login name and password.
I have tried to reset the browser
Went back to I.E. 6 from 7
Created a new acccount and still does same things
Help needed

If these fixes do not do the trick run Hijack This and post the log at the Hijack This forum
