I'm having an incredible amount of problem with XPs PPPoE. 2 very annoying problems actually, the first problem is:
Everytime i create a connection on PPPoE, it ends up disappearing later everytime i restart WinXP or if i use my comp at a later time. So there for i always have to create a new connection EVERYTIME i start my comp! :disgust: Even more strange is if i create a new connection with the same name, it'll say the connection already exists, meanwhile its not there lol. so i have to put a different name to it everytime. Are the connections invisible or did i do something to hide them? What am i doing wrong, please someone shed some light on this. 🙁
My second problem. And i'm assuming its the PPPoE doing this. Everytime i start my comp and when everything finishes loading up, XP hangs on me for a full minute or two, i can not open up any programs or do anything until the hang goes away, my system tray is absolutely clean, i have nothing starting up when i boot, so i'm sure its not a program doing it, i heard from somewhere that PPPoE does this, that my network card is searching for something but he was unable to give me a solution. can someone please give me a remedy for this? thanks for the help.
