XPS 13 Battery/Battery Life Testing

Hello,

So I recently purchased the Dell XPS 13 after reading reviews (such as the one on Anandtech) that boasted an impressive battery life of over 10 hour for this notebook. However, I am not even seeing close to 6 hours on my device (and this is the 1080p version, not the QHD).

I was wondering if anyone else had any experience with it?

And more specifically, I was wondering if Anandtech ever posted the script they use for battery life testing, so I can test mine and see if I get the same result?

Thank in advance,

xps 13 is far, far overrated. the engineering quality has been flawed even since the 2008 days, and is well overpriced.

the HP spectre, sadly, is far more impressive than the dell, the spectre offers +10 hours battery life.

anyway; run the computer on 2 or 3 different operating systems on energy saver mode with "never" on dim/standby/hibernate/turn-off-monitor, with few or almost nothing running except OS desktop mode.

Try running Internet Explorer, its far lower power in Chrome, or Firefox for that matter. I know, IE isn't good for much but for this it is.
