the nforce4 seems to perform better...but i love the onboard video. then i can buy an x800 xl or 6800gt in 4-5 months from now for like 100-150. what do you guys think?

I've heard a few good things about the ATI Express 200 chipset. The on-board video is still too weak, though. About the same as a hypermemory X300. Perfectly fine for windows and older games. If you can live with that until the X800XLs are cheaper, then I say go for it.

Yes, they are as good as an X300. I have an ECS board that has the Xpress 200 Chipset, it is a good chipset, onboard can run CS 1.6 fine and source is okay on low-medium settings.

I would definately get a Radeon xPress motherboard, but it seems that the ammount of boards are few and far between. =/
