I am currently planning on an aMD based XPC. Between the SK43G, SN45G, and SN85G4v2, all have their own combination of features and affordabilty, which is key. I heard the athe SN45G can overclock, but is it worth trying that with an XP-M, sticking with the 333fsb limitation of the SK43G, or drop the change on the SN85G which is currently running the Nforce3 150, a chipset that is already doomed for replacement by the 250 some say......ideas?

The SN45G is a favorite among gamers and overclockers. Now that it comes with Silent X 250 watt PSU it definately makes an attractive option.

defenatly go with the SN45G setup nice small lots of features, good intergrated audio which i like because it saves the PCI slot.

uncch93, Are you from R3vlimited?

Anyways, I have a SN45G with a 2100+ in it running 200x11

I've got a Mobile 2600+ coming in that will easily let me do 200x12.5 and much higher.

If you need a PC now, get the SN45G and a mobile processor.
If you can wait it out, go for the 64 bit.

No spencers , just a forum browser, sorry.

So with an SN45G, basing on Kingston HyperX 512mb PC 2700 module I will be swapping over, a moblie set to the right bus should work fine?

I should be getting new video card (one that works with the power limitations), HD, and maybe monitor. I will be going ATI, and have heard of certain cards not playing nice. Any problems with a 9800 Pro on this setup?

Again, thanks. Any suggestions welcome.
