Does changing over from a 266MHz FSB to a 333MHz FSB increase performance that much? This may be more of a motherboard question, but I figured I would ask it here. I currently have a 1900+ (266MHz) and Mushkin PC2700 RAM (running at 266MHz).

Just curious if the only upgrade in speed would be from the RAM and motherboard running at a higher FSB, or if the actual CPU performs better as well.

FSB increase will give you a decent overall performance increase. Plus you would be running your PC2700 ram at it's optimal speed 333Mhz.

Yes always choose the fsb over chip frequency with these kind of decisions as it helps the cpu communicate quicker with the rest of the system.

Hmmm.... Well... since my motherboard is part of my Shuttle case, I guess I will wait a while to get a new one. Thanks!
