I know it's a week 22, and it's a T-Bred B... but as far as the rest of it... does it look like a good overclocker? Anyone know anything about it?

give it a go and let us know!

:)

it's a tbred B that's for sure..

and if the myth/theory is correct that would be a 2400 downgraded to a 2400....

yeah... i don't buy that the number before the batch number is actually a downgrade number.. makes no sense to downgrade a 2400 to a 2400... or whatever...

:)

tell us how it goes...

Well I don't have it, I was thinking about buying it, lol. I decided not to though, and I've got an XP2500 from newegg on it's way =) Once I get it, and make sure it's stable, I'll probably be looking to sell my current XP2500 if anyone's interested =)

I say scoop it... You might get past that current 2.2ghz and then you decide what you want to sell...

My 1700+ from shady is sitting pretty @ 2.425 / 1.75v / 45C full load...

:D

Nah, the price also was a factor... I'm expecting to get 2.2 Ghz out of the new XP2500 on stock voltage. Maybe if I increase the voltage to what this one is running at I can get 2.3 or more. We'll see. If not, at least I haven't lost anything... most Bartons are guaranteed 2.2 Ghz off the bat. Plus I'm not sure I like the idea of giving up some L2 cache without KNOWING I'll get at least another 100 Mhz out of it. Maybe I'll even trade my old XP2500 to someone who has an XP1700 guaranteed to run at 2.2 Ghz... then I'll benchmark both and we'll see how much that extra cache REALLY helps =)
