XP2400+ in Soyo K7V Dragon+ ?

When i try running my sweet new XP 2400+ CPU in my Soyo K7V Dragon+ Mobo nothing happends, no beep or VGA...
I now my board doest officially support the 2400+ but i think thats because of the lower Vcore and i wanna OC so 1.75V shouldnt be a problem.
So i would like to know if i can "cheat" my PC to run with this fast processor or do i have to get a new mainboard?

i guess it doesnt support tbred cpu's

i dont think its possible running it then....
even a bios update probably wont help (they dont mention anything about it supporting higher than xp2100+ on their website)

its probably not running because of the high multiplier
maybe if you can unlock it, and try it in a friends computer to make sure, then try? (can you manually adjust mult via dip switches or jumpers or is it all within the bios?)

probably if you clean it up afterwards

its relatively easy too, but the hardpart would be to clean up most traces of conductive compound (dont even have to worry about filling gap, so thats ok)

Dragon+ is not compatable with Tbred chips.
