HI,
i was wondering if the Athlon XPs will work in a abit KT7A-RAID ?
if so, what is the maximum XP rating that the MB will do?

ABIT KT7 / KT7-RAID / KT7E all version and KT7A/KT7A-RAID V1.0/1.1/1.2 cannot support AMD Athlon XP processor.

1.ABIT has release BIOS for KG7 and KT7A V1.3 to patch the CPU model name. If user did not upgrade to the latest bios, users can also manually set the suitable working frequency for AMD Athlon XP processors in SoftMenu BIOS. >>

 
thanx for the cut and paste job
but the abit website just says upto 1.2GHZ, The BIOS 1.4 GHZ and the manuel says all future 200/266 FSB bus processors.
So in theory, if the manuel is right, if amd release a 10GHZ Socket A Processor with a 200/266 FSB then it should work.

for example, does anyone know if the new XP2200 will work?
