xp1700 beats a mobile barton in benchmarks

so i get my hands on this thourobred core 1700 i do some research and learn that it is a great ocer "i even got good steppings" and as for all of the xp chips i have played with it runs great at 200 mhz fsb. i benched this chip at 11 x 200 1.66 vcore 40 at idle p95 stable and got better benches better performance test score better pcmark score better super pi score. even sandra tested out better.wtf i thaught the bartons kicked a thourobreds arse . 512 k l2 and all.
any thaught here folks? here is a thread i started re this chip but got no replies

What about in other benchmarks like 3dmark, games for example?

both cores were running at the same speed the only difference was vcore. ran p95 torture test and threw no errors with the 1700 last night. i will bench more now pc mark 3dmark, any others that i should run?

super pi 8000000 in 9 mins
3dmark01 12850
these are overall the same scores i was getting with my mobile barton at 2500 mhz
current xp1700 11 x 200 1.7 vcore
anybody want to buy a barton?

um...

hmm...

this is hard to believe.. i've done a test with a non-mobile barton and tbred last year in like march or something...

and i've found that the L2 cache is equivalent to about a 100 mhz performance difference.

so a 2.3 ghz tbred is equivalent to a 2.2 ghz barton... or somewhere around there....

i'd like to see some screenies of your benches with the cpu-z screenies next to them... then i'd be more likely to believe your results....

also, what O/S you using?

i know my xp x1800 @ 2.4 ghz is a little faster than a 2.3barton. but i think its slower than a 2.4 barton. oh ya i have the same stepping as the xp1700, ive hade this chip a 2.5ghz befor too. its a great stepping.
