My ECS K7S5A motherboard doesn't support changing the multiplier. I know connecting all the L1 bridges on the CPU will unlock the multiplier and allow motherboards capable of setting multipliers to set it to pretty much anything. However, on a motherboard like mine that cannot set the multiplier, is it possible to manually set the multiplier by bridging only some specific L1's without bridging them all? I've seen a page that adds DIP switch multiplier setting to the motherboard, but I'd rather not get that extreme (he had to break pins out of the socket and other things I don't want to bother with).
