XP wont work with Adobe Photoshop

Have XP home on my rig....have Adobe Photoshop 6.0 also. Adobe brought up my HP scanner 1100AXi in WIN 98 but WONT bring up my HP scanner in XP Home. Why not and how do I correct this?

install your hp scanners latest drivers... that's if you haven't done that already.
that usually solves the problem.

you could also just try reinstalling.

Photoshop pulls the scanners out of the twain folder in windows so this basically means that windows cannot/should not be able to see it.

reinstalling the scanner software may also resolve the issue (provided their twain drivers will work in XP)
