I am trying to decide between buying an XP3000+ w/400 FSB or an XP 2600 Mobile and overclocking it much as I have done in the past. MB is an Abit AN7 w/Corsair 3200XL memory 1 gig twinX @ 2225 latency.
WHICH PROCESSOR will have the most throughput in GRAPHICS (Video not Games) programs. Your thoughts? 400FSB MB, Memory and , processor vs the overclock?

overclocked mobile.

reason being that it has a lower multiplier = higher FSB for same speed.

theoretically, its more throughput.

Agreed, faster FSBs are (almost) always good.

Also, the mobile starts at a lower voltage so you will have more headroom. I just picked up a Mobile 2200+ from NewEgg today for the same reasons :)
