Hi, right now im using XP pro on an 80gb HD. Ive used about 30gb on the drive. Right now its formatted into 1 80gb partition. What can I use to make this smaller so I can have room for vista? And once i get vista installed, how do I select what partition to boot? thanks!

You have to reformat your harddrive. But this means you'd have to reinstall XP. You could use Norton Parition Magic which allows you to create partitions without deleting stuff. But I'm not sure if it's 100% reliable. I believe the Gparted live CD allows you do to this also and it's free!

well ok, I was hoping there was some good partition software that could resize my current partition without having to reformat.
