The 'corporate' version is the Pro edition. There is no difference between it and XP Pro except that Activation is not necessary.

The 'corporate' edition that is floating around is basically a hack that someone did. He married some files between the Pro edition and one of the OEM editions and ended up with something that didnt' need activation.

The TRUE corporate edition is the one that goes out to Microsoft Select licensing customers. Those didn't ship until late last week. (ours arrived Monday) A product key is required and is registered to your company (so they know who leaks) but activation is not required. There is no MS Select version of XP Home edition.

Another version and the one I use is the MSDN version which allows 10 activations with a single key before you have to call them and have them reset it.

<< Yes, don't for get XP version: Devil's Own! >>

That's the one I was referring to above when I said someone married files from Pro and OEM to come up with the 'corporate' version that is floating around.
