XP Version Question

Is there any way to tell what version a copy of XP is prior to loading it? Is the volume label any indicator? Is there any outward sign whether a version is corporate or not prior to loading it?

One last question after some searching here in the forums. Can someone confirm that "true" Corporate XP versions require a product key to be input upon installation? A product key issued to the company at the time the license was purchased from MS?

Just trying to get a handle on this XP stuff. 😉

The product code is included with the CDROM that WinXP ships on, the same as every other Windows since Windows 95. The Corporate rollout version of Windows XP simply does not need an Activation Code that is obtained from Microsoft.
