XP users, how do you get rid of the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop?

For the life of me I can't figure it out. Unlike 98, the icons do not disapper once you activate active desktop. I am missing something? I have this nice wallpaper and an ugly icon sticking out like a sore thumb. :frown:

Just hide your icons. It's in Right-Click>Arrange Icons>Hide Desktop Icons, methinks.
