XP to XP Pro?????

I currently am running the XP home edition on my PC(PC1). I am recieving a free copy of XP pro(Through the retail promotional thingy found in the hot deals forum). I have a new system(PC2) that I would like to put my home edition on and put the Pro edition onto my system(PC1). Anyone know how the Activation is going to react if I attempt to install it on my new system(PC2) since it is already activated on my current system(PC1)?😕

Am I going to be able to do this with minimal hassle, or at all? Suggestions are welcomed and appreciated. 🙂
 
How long did the activation process take originally? If not too long, I think the only *real* way to find the answer is to call them and find out, if possible.

I am interested in the final outcome, also.
 
If the systems are identical you shouldn't have a problem. Most likely though your two systems are completely different in which case when you try to install the XP home it will say your key is/has already been used and ask you to supply another one. You then can call a 1-800 number and give them this long ass number and they will give you another activation number. They will ask you if you have installed this on another system and your response would be what you've already explained to us.
