XP SP2 - How's the new IE6 Pop Up Blocker?

Just curious if it blocks Microsoft's own automatic popups on Hotmail. Or whether they've found a way to integrate a popup blocker without blocking their own popup ads. 😛

Pop-up Blocker will not block some pop-ups with certain types of animated content or pop-ups from Web sites that are in two Web content zones: Local intranet or Trusted sites.
Certain types of animated content?

most popup blockers do not block windows opened by user-initiated actions. they block popups that come up during the onload event of the page.

You can set it to block all pop-ups. Then as you go to websites that you want popups, you can open the feature up little by little. That is what I did. Works pretty damn well.
