I don't get it. I can connect to the internet. The Static IP shows up in the properties. Everything is correct. I can browse the local network. But it won't stop saying "Acquiring Network Address". The box is a AMD64 3500+ with Asus SLI-Deluxe Motherboard. Running 4.6.4 driver (NIC).

I can reboot the system and it will not show the "ANA" message for days and then it suddenly reappears. DHCP service is disabled. Still nothing. Any ideas? Is there a hotfix for this or a driver update that corrects the problem? I can't seem to find it on the MS KB or Nvidia's site.

Thanks!

What does ipconfig/all say? (and does it report differently when you experience the problem?)
Yes, please post what you see here.
If you are using a static IP...just open up Services control panel -> stop and then disable the DHCP client service.
The DHCP client service is already disabled; see the OP.
