Just wondering...
Whenever I open a winrar file or open daemon tools to mount a drive....it basically stops and "thinks" for 5-10 seconds before opening. Also, when I boot into XP, it used to be at my desktop before the intro music played, and now again it stops with a black desktop w/cursor, then the windows xp is starting up screen is there for 5-10 seconds, then it finally loads. I have like NOTHING running, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what could be slowing me down.
By the way, I have an nvidia card in the other box with a 1700+ @ 2.3 and it has none of these slowdowns.
